TRADE CASTING PRICE LIST – FROM 18 AUGUST 2023
We will make a multi-sprue (excluding cost of mould) for £5.35 per piece on sprue , but only if you ask us to.

There will be a charge of 15p for snipping sprues off multis.

CASTING
* Small size – 1-5 Items (minimum charge) – £23.00
Small size – Up to 19 Items – £4.50 each
Small size – 20 to 49 items – £3.90 each
Small size – 50 items & over – £3.10 each
* small size-roughly up to 35 x 50mm

* Large size – 1-5 Items (minimum charge)* – £36.10
Large size – Single casting – up to 19 items  £7.30 each
Large size – Single casting – 20 & over items  £6.20 each
* large size-roughly up to 50 x 70mm, for particularly large pieces, we will quote

Ring – grind the inside of the ring ready to polish – 95p per ring
remove an inside sprue – £1.60 per ring
grind off the outside sprue & smooth – £1.30 per ring
Bangle – remove an inside sprue & grind inside – £2.70 per bangle
Bangle – remove an outside sprue & grind outside – £1.40 per bangle

MOULDS
Rubber mould: standard size (40 x 60) £20.10
Rubber mould: medium size (50 x 80) £24.70
Rubber mould: large size (65 x 140) £31.50

Cold mould: standard size £24.00
Cold mould: medium size £39.00
Cold mould: large size-price calculated by weight (3p/gm) from £44.70

If your pieces are larger/heavier than standard sizes, we reserve the right to charge for using separate flasks when casting. Small flask – £26.75, medium – £53.50, large – £80.25, ex. large – £107

NEXT POST CASTING: maximum of 5 waxes, only if you supply the waxes : £30 premium
This does not apply to pieces that require moulds.

URGENT CASTING:  max. 20 pieces only: £50 premium.
For pieces that require moulds.

Prices do not include VAT @ 20%
Metal: @ cost based on daily Cookson.com grain price plus 17%

For 14ct, 18ct and above, casting cost is 3 x normal price, e.g. A single casting in 18ct White would be 3 x £4.50 = £13.50.

All castings are supplied with sprues snipped off & pin polished.
Target delivery time 7 days – sometimes shorter, sometimes longer

Stone-set pieces can be cast but need their own flask, and this is at entirely your own risk: Small flask – £26.75, medium – £53.50, large – £80.25, ex. large – £107

 Sorry but… all natural objects are subject to 3x normal casting charges. They take AGES and often fail.

OWN METAL (GOLD): We will use customers’ own gold (no chains) for sentimental purposes only, and it must have a visible hallmark. Requires separate flasks: small flask £26.75, medium £53.50, large £80.25, ex. large £107 plus standard 5% mark-up on your gold used.

MASTERS – We insure your masters up to £250 each only

FINISHING: we provide a finishing service for 20 or more pieces. This takes bench & machine time, so please ask for a quote.
