Our commitment to jewellery workers

Because we know just how hard it is to get the best products for the best price.

40 years of quality Scottish craftmanship

After gaining experience in the jewellery industry in Leeds, Mike and Trish Hurst moved up to Kintyre in the west of Scotland to start a jewellery manufacturing business. Originally aimed at the Scottish craft market, they quickly realised that a more open design philosophy was required.

As well as refining their silver collection, they had a successful foray into the gem set ring market, before striking out in the initial stages of the incredibly popular ’Charles Rennie Mackintosh’ fashion which, for quite a while, dominated silver jewellery ranges. This was our hey day in manufacturing, employing fourteen people in our remote little corner of the Highlands.

About us

Hand-crafted jewellery goodness

Shortly after this period we realised there was a large demand in the Scottish industry for casting services. We had always done our own casting and by then were very experienced at it so, in 2014 we formed Jewellery Casting Scotland, stopped manufacturing, and re-jigged the workshop to be a casting only facility servicing other manufacturers.

We arrived here with a wealth of knowledge and experience which we are happy to share with all our customers.

Being in manufacturing jewellery for so long we understood better than
most the traumas that manufacturers face, and we have vowed from day
one to let our own experience smooth our customers’ journey. Our main
priorities are:

To get halfway to reaching these, we have always made a point of
getting the absolute best of machinery, and training our team to
perfection- nothing else will do.

Quality Guarantee

Castings that aren't perfect are no good to anyone. So, that's our aim in life - perfect castings every time. We promise we will always do our very best.

Honesty

We just are! What's the good of being any other way? And we're going to stay like that. So there!

Speed

Our aim is to get your castings out of our door and to yours as fast as possible. Ideally 7 days, often bettered. Our only obstruction to this is sheer volume of work.

Meeting Customer Needs

If you speak, we listen. Communication is all when you provide a service and if it's practical we'll change.
